A Missaukee County woman is in jail after police say she shot her
boyfriend with a deer rifle. State Police say the shooting happened
Saturday night at a house in Richland Township. They say Amanda Lynn wade
had been drinking when she accidentally shot Billy Jo Mayhew in the arm
with the deer rifle. Mayhew was taken to Munson Medical Center where
doctors treated his wound -- they say he's going to be okay. Right now,
Wade is looking at multiple felony charges.
