Has nothing to do with Charlton Heston: You can find the Lansbury version on You Tube. Search for a user called erekrose. He/she has all but the finalle of Ballad. The finalle I found posted by a user called khesed.
I agree with what your girlfriend said. The emotion (sad, crazy )is more obvious in the stage version. Mrs Lovett also makes her love for Sweeney a lot more obvious. Great songs were cut out for time in the film too. Overall, I love them both for different reasons. :-D
