Man parked outside Fort Pierce Community Center charged with lewd exhibition

FORT PIERCE — A 41-year-old man who told police he was just "relaxing" with his pants undone at the Fort Pierce Community Center was arrested and charged Saturday with lewd or lascivious exhibition/masturbation.

Fort Pierce Police officers saw Nicodeme Petion sitting in the driver's seat with his pants open, belt unbuckled with a sock over his genital area, according to a police report. Before police contact with Petion, a family with young children walked past his 1994 green Chevy Caprice and the mother looked inside the car and quickly ran over and picked up her child to escort them pass Petion's vehicle, according to a police report.

Petion told officers he was "just relaxing in the park" and that his pants were open because he was "hot," according to a police report.

Also, officers found a black and red book bag with 11 condoms, a pamphlet on STD awareness, Latina babes pornographic magazine, two white ankle socks and one black sock with possible seminal secretions.

Also, Petion was cited for driving while his license was suspended.

Teen charged with shoving senior off dock

FALMOUTH – A 14-year-old boy was arrested yesterday after he pushed a senior citizen off a dock because he "thought it would be funny," police said.

The North Falmouth teen – whose name was not released because he is a juvenile – was at Megansett Beach when the 2:20 p.m. incident occurred. Police said the boy ran up behind the 71-year-old victim, who was fishing off the dock with his grandson, and pushed him off the dock and into the ocean.

The man suffered lacerations to both knees and lost his prescription glasses, police said.

Although the boy fled into the woods by the Talk of the Town Diner, several people at the beach knew his identity and immediately called police.

Once arrested, the boy was allowed to make one phone call. Police said he chose to call a friend to "brag and laugh" about what he had done. police said.

The boy was held on $1,000 cash bail and transferred to a secure facility in New Bedford. Police said he will be arraigned today in Falmouth District Court.

Then later his genitals were publicly shaved and he was made to walk around with "ASS" written across his forehead in red.
